Job description

PWNT is looking for a Project Engineer with mechanical background to be based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The Project Engineer is a full-time position in our Projects, Engineering and Development group and he/she will be responsible for delivering work packages towards the application of our innovative technologies into a client’s application.

Most important is that you have an engineering background and a broad perspective of design and process engineering, preferably from water treatment projects. With this background we expect you to direct and coordinate all activities related to design activities of internal and external engineers.
You will provide oversight of engineering, process commissioning and performance testing activities, including planning, risk management, resourcing, and review. You will provide project estimates– including budget estimates, and tender estimates, and support in the development of standard pricing.

We expect you to build and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders and partners. You will represent PWNT as an organization and identify and act upon high level trends and opportunities within the network.

The Project Engineer should possess the following skills:

  • Education: minimum of bachelor Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent education).
  • Extensive experience in a similar position.
  • Project management experience.
  • Understanding how an engineering process works.
  • Good communication skills, with our clients and engineers from all disciplines.
  • Experience in the (drinking) water industry is a plus.
  • Language skills: fluency in English and good knowledge of the Dutch language would be beneficial.
