Pilot study for the College Water Treatment Works of South West Water UK

In 2016, a pilot study for the College Water Treatment Works was completed. ILCA® and CeraMac® were tested to treat an algae-laden reservoir source, and it was the first site were we tested a cleaning-in-place procedure for the membranes with ozone. The processes effectively treated this challenging source. Different coagulants were tested and disinfection by-product formation potential tests were performed, showing favorable and sustainable operation and water quality.
