Technical Project Engineer (TD&E)

Location: Andijk / Velserbroek

Position

The position of Technical Project Engineer will be responsible for delivering complete engineering packages to our client projects. The position is within our Technology Development and Engineering group. You will act as liaison for mechanical and project related issue’s during the projects for which you will translate customer requirements into engineering scope.

Most important is that you have an engineering background and a broad perspective of multidisciplinary projects, preferably from industries with a strongly developed engineering culture. With this background we expect you to act as a pragmatic, actively involved design lead and initiate cross discipline design activities. You will lead engineering, inquiry, procurement, quality control and expediting of mechanical and process equipment within the given budget- and time limitation. You will oversee the generation of engineering documents, including the preparation of mechanical/construction drawings.

You will be involved in commissioning and performance testing activities and deliver hands-on support during assembly of designed equipment commissioning support on site (worldwide).

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Engineering or similar (Mechanical , Electrical, Process, Civil etc.)
  • 7-10 years of experience in designing and engineering in multidisciplinary projects
  • Successful as a lead engineer or as a project engineer in international projects
  • MS Office, MS Project, Autodesk literate
  • Fluent in written and verbal English (Dutch language is not a necessity)
  • Hands-on mentality, practical, result- and customer-oriented, team player and strong communication skills.
  • Experience in drinking water treatment is a plus
  • Willingness to travel and support projects abroad

The position of Project Engineer will be responsible for delivering work packages towards the application of our innovative technology into a client’s application. The position is within our Operations unit.

Most important is that you have an impressive engineering background and a broad perspective of design and process engineering, preferably from water treatment projects. With this background we expect you to direct and coordinate all activities related to design activities of internal and external design/process engineers.

You will provide oversight of process commissioning and performance testing activities, including planning, risk management, resourcing, and review.

You will provide project estimates– including budget estimates, and tender estimates, and support in the development of standard prizing.

We expect you to build and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders and partners.

You will represent PWNT as an organization and identify and act upon high level trends and opportunities within the network.

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (eg Civil, Environmental, Industrial Design)
  • At least 10 years of experience in designing and engineering in advanced water treatment projects
  • International project experience
  • (Technical) Leadership skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal English (Dutch language is not a necessity)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Driven, goal- and result oriented personality
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills

Global Technology Application Manager PWNT

Location: Andijk / Velserbroek

Are your ready to take on the responsibility for the application of innovative drinking water treatment projects?

Position

The position of Global Technology Application Manager will be responsible for ensuring the overall integration and design of the innovative PWNT technology into a client’s application within the project management goals. The position is within our Operations Unit and will have approximately 6 direct reports, all engineers specialized in process design and project engineering.

Most important is that you have an impressive engineering background and a broad perspective of design and process engineering, project management and contractual agreements, preferably from water treatment projects. With this background we expect you to direct and coordinate all activities related to engineering design management, commissioning management and project estimation. You will help your team to manage the different project stages with a strong focus on result, planning and effective cost management. You are familiar with interpretation of client and third party contracts and delivering the required technology. You will also assist with technology standardization to reduce costs of our technology. You will also be responsible for the supply chain strategy for key procured items, focusing on diversifying suppliers to reduce costs and risk.

As a key manager of PWNT, we will expect you to build and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders and partners. You will represent PWNT as an organization and identify and act upon high level trends and opportunities within the network. You bring a strong contribution to client management, by leading the engineering aspects of PWNT’s client interactions from opportunity (tender) to a successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  •  Master degree in Chemical Engineering or similar (e.g. Mechanical, Environmental, Civil)
  • At least 10 years of experience in designing and engineering in advanced water treatment projects
  • International project experience
  • (Technical) Leadership skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal English (Dutch language is not a necessity)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Driven, goal- and result oriented personality
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
